Syd Greene (b. 1993) is an artist from Greenville, South Carolina. A descendant of a long line of blue-collar mountain folk, Greene has been awarded multiple workshop scholarships to attend both Arrowmont School of Arts and Craft and Penland School of Crafts, as well as receiving residency at Elf School of the Arts. Greene’s work was featured in the Manifest 15th International Drawing Annual (INDA 15) publication in 2024. When she’s not focusing on her studio practice or pulling a slipper out of her dog’s mouth, Greene is also engaging in the regional arts community through instructional roles and artist/gallery assistantships.
