Samira Henninge (b. 2003, Vermont) is an artist based in Chicago whose work explores memory’s instability, layering past and present through textiles, glass, and print. Guided by an obsessive need to collect, preserve, and distort, she excavates her late mother’s archive—photographs, notes, diaries, and publications—reshaping them into tactile narratives that challenge the boundaries between presence and absence.
