Pete Willson is an artist based in Chicago, whose predominantly painted works are done on found wood and reclaimed surfaces. Guided by imagination rather than reference, his often naive renderings of scenes of forgotten places, animals and mysterious landscapes bring forth a quiet world of wonder and poetry.
