Isabel Mosley is a painter from Louisville, Kentucky currently working and residing in Chicago, Illinois. She received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2025. Isabel’s paintings transform architectural motifs like doors and windows into emblematic and promising portals, suggesting other worlds beyond that are not seen. Her work is a quiet but obsessive reflection on mystery, access, boundaries and desire– conscious and unconscious. Isabel has shown her work in group and solo exhibitions at Gure (Chicago), Prospect City Hall (Louisville), spot! (Chicago), the New York Academy of Art (NYC), SAIC Galleries (Chicago), and 849 Gallery (Louisville).
