Amelie Langland is a queer and trans poet who grew up in Alabama. She received her MFA from the University of Arkansas where she won the Carolyn F. Walton Cole Fellowship in translation. A Pushcart nominee, her poetry has appeared, or is forthcoming, in Best New Poets 2018, the minnesota review, RHINO, The Journal, Texas Review Press, NELLE, among many others. When she is not teaching or gardening, she is most likely watching PBS.
